Heath Injury Law LLC is proud to announce that firm founder M. Blake Heath has been selected for membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates, commonly known as ABOTA.
ABOTA is an invitation-only national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges. Unlike many professional organizations, membership requires substantial, demonstrated courtroom experience. Prospective members must have at least five years of active experience as a trial lawyer, must have tried at least 10 civil jury trials to conclusion, and must possess additional litigation experience. Members are also expected to exhibit the highest standards of integrity, civility, and professionalism.
Founded in 1958, ABOTA is dedicated to preserving and promoting the right to a civil jury trial guaranteed by the Seventh Amendment to the United States Constitution. Its membership includes both plaintiff and defense attorneys, as well as judges, throughout the United States.
“I am honored to be selected for membership in ABOTA,” Heath said. “What makes this recognition especially meaningful to me is that membership requires actual jury trial experience. Trying cases is central to how we serve our clients, and I am proud to join an organization committed to protecting the civil jury system and maintaining high standards within the legal profession.”
Blake represents individuals and families in personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, insurance litigation, and other complex civil cases. His selection to ABOTA reflects his extensive trial experience and his continued commitment to advocating for clients in the courtroom.
