| Amount | $325,000.00 |
The family of a man that passed away in a motorcycle crash received a $325,000.00 settlement. This included $25,000.00 from one insurance company, and $300,000.00 from another insurance that insured multiple vehicles for the family.
This was a tragic case where the police report read like the crash was a single operator crash where the man lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. After meeting with the family, attorney Blake Heath determined another individual may have been involved and the crash was not the result of the man simply losing control of his motorcycle.
Through his investigation, Mr. Heath developed evidence that another motorcyclist likely came in contact with the man’s motorcycle causing him to lose control. Mr. Heath determined that there was no insurance for the other motorcyclist, but the deceased man had multiple insurance policies for various vehicles. Mr. Heath submitted demands to all available insurance, and he was able to receive the policy limits for all applicable policies.
This case is a great example of why it is important to engage an attorney willing to conduct a thorough investigation of the facts and who knows how insurance works following a crash.
